A rare toy in working condition. No replacement parts. There is a small solder repair at the bottom which is from a missing tab. The wind-up is still strong. There is one small dent or crease in the boys face next to the mouth. Could be a wrinkle from the factory or it got a tiny ding somewhere.

Offered is this absolutely pristine example of a KENTON GENE AUTRY CAST IRON DUMMY CAP PISTOL. Circa 1940s. Dummy cap guns were designed for, and sold in, areas that banned cap gun caps. There are absolutely no signs of playwear. Who wanted to play with a cap gun that didn't shoot caps? :-)  Even the grips are completely scratch free.
